Each year hundreds of thousands of walkers worldwide participate in our Walk to Cure Diabetes events. Families, communities, and businesses gather for their local walks to help raise much-needed funds for research to help find a cure for diabetes. In addition to raising funds, our walks provide us the opportunity to reach out to and encourage new supporters to take part in our advocacy efforts. As our advocate base grows, we are more successful in educating and influencing Members of Congress when it comes to important diabetes issues.
Walk to Cure Diabetes is always a wonderful way to get involved with JDRF in your community.
